Tonight an other big and great adventure of gasballooning comes to reality. Troy Bradly and Leonid Tiukhtyaev are planning to cross the pacific ocean from Saga / Japan to the USA and thus breaking several world records. They are flying a 10.000m³ Padelt helium balloon. The flight duration is around 5 to 7 days.

We wish our friends Troy and Leonid all the best for this flight.
Glück ab und Gut Land!!

Benjamin, Wilhelm and Ramses have crossed the Alps from Düsseldorf to Verona. Matthias chased the team and is nearly at at landing sport after landing.
They had 5 sandbags left in 15.000 feet (5.000 Meter) because of unstable conditions over the Alps but they reached their target Verona / IT. After landing they had 0 sand bags left. It seems easier than it really is to pass the Alps from Düsseldorf to Italy. Benjamin reported around 15 hotair balloons also crossing the Alps. Some of them (4-5) with major ATC Problems and no permission in FL150 (appr. 15.000 Feet).
